It is sometimes hard to understand why light conditions and exposure are so important in photography. The reason why is because exposure is the fuel to the picture engine. Make sure you see exposure as a compound mixture of Light, Aperture and Shutter speed.

The kicker is, ISO settings are not part of the exposure, yet those are very important too.
Question: Are Light and ISO part of the exposure equation? A: No, it is not.
